Description of Services

Tax Preparation

We prepare both federal and state individual, trust, and business income tax returns. This includes Form 1040, Form 1041, Form 1120, Form 1120S, Form 1065, Form 114 (FBAR), and all state income tax returns. If you do not see your form listed here, please contact us to see if we file your form. This service also covers any emails and phone calls related to the preparation of the form you have requested. The rates for these forms vary. After we have a chance to look over your tax situation, we will then provide either a flat fee or a range of what it will cost to prepare your return(s).

Advisory Call

We offer 15, 30, and 45 minute advisory calls. These calls are designed to help answer your tax and wealth building questions. You can schedule these calls through our calendar link: Schedule

S-Corporation Election (Form 2553)

If you want to turn your company into an S-Corporation, an election must be filed with the IRS on Form 2553. We prepare this form and make sure all necessary documentation is filed in order for your company to be turned into an S-Corporation.

Return Review

This service allows you to schedule a meeting with your Tax Advisor to go over your return after it has been prepared but before you sign. The purpose of this service is to allow you the opportunity to have your Tax Advisor walk you through your return and provide insight into your situation. The meeting is 30 minutes long ($150) or 45 minutes long ($225).

Advisory Contact

This service allows you direct access to your Tax Advisor throughout the year. It covers research phone calls, emails, and research.

Tax Research

If you have a complicated tax issue and need research to be performed, we will use our tax research tools to gather the necessary tax law information so that we can help you make a well informed decision. This service is billed at our hourly rates. We will provide an estimate of how long we expect the research to take along with an estimate of the cost.

Tax Planning

This is a 90-minute meeting where we go in-depth into both your personal and business situation, which includes a tax projection, building your financial outlook (the Trifecta), tax and wealth building strategies, and steps to implement the strategies discussed. This service requires comprehensive preparation on our part beforehand. Therefore, we must receive your most up-to-date financials before the meeting can be scheduled. After we have received and reviewed your financials, we will then reach out to you to schedule the Tax Planning meeting.

Power of Attorney (Form 2848)

This form allows your CPA to discuss your tax situation with the IRS. Without this form, the IRS will not discuss your tax returns or any other tax documents with us.

S-Corporation Conversion Analysis

This service provides you with an analysis of whether it is beneficial for your entity to convert to an S-Corporation. After we have finished our analysis, we meet with you for 30 minutes to go over the results and the things you need to know upon conversion.

IRS Calls and Letters

Whether it is penalty abatement or wanting to know the status of your tax return, we will contact the IRS on your behalf and work to get your case resolved. This service also covers any IRS notices you may receive. The cost of this service varies depending on the situation. The charge for a first time penalty abatement request is $150. All other situations are billed at our hourly rates ($325) based on the time it takes to accomplish the task.

Comprehensive Consult

Intended for individuals without a business. This meeting is designed to answer any questions you may have along with providing tax and wealth building strategies that best fit your situation. We will provide you with action steps to implement the strategies we discuss along with a printout of your financial outlook (the Trifecta). You can schedule this consult here: Schedule

Form 1099

Each year, 1099s must be issued by January 31st. We help clients determine whether 1099s need to be issued, and if so, we will get them filed on behalf of the client.

Beneficial Ownership Information Report

We do not file this report internally. Due to uncertainty as to whether CPAs are allowed to file this report or not, we are referring clients to the law firm in our network. If you need this report filed, please go to our BOI Report page and see the post on January 3, 2024 for more information.

Other Services

For services not listed above, please contact us and we will let you know if we provide the service you are requesting.
